Reporting directly to the CFO, the Senior FP&A Manager will assume responsibility for performing financial modeling and analysis with a focus on the commercial teams of sales, marketing and design. They will also design and prepare financial materials, as well as interpret and communicate financial information. This is a highly visible role, with an opportunity to significantly impact the organization. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought partnership to the sales and marketing/design leadership teams. 
  • Lead month end reporting and analysis processes and material preparation with a high degree of accuracy and transparency. 
  • Analyze large amounts of data from various sources and develop actionable insights and recommendations. 
  • Lead revenue analyses providing visibility into emerging trends. Model pricing scenarios for large quantity buys and / or special orders. 
  • Build and enhance robust financial models through a strategic lens as well as collaborate cross-functionally with business partners to highlight trends and assess business risks and opportunities.
  • Enhance and own various key metrics and reporting to support business decisions and optimize resource allocation.
  • Provide financial leadership for product life cycle management (i.e., innovation, SKU rationalization, renovation, etc.).
  • Coach and develop direct and indirect reports.

 


Requirements/Qualifications

  • BS in business, finance, economics, accounting or related fields. MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in FP&A or similar position with emphasis on forecasting, financial analysis and financial modeling.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word). Advanced modeling skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills.
  • Outstanding leadership skills
  • Experience with driving financial planning software and business intelligence tools throughout the organization
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to operate with limited information or guidance at times.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, manipulate, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information.
  • Scrutinize financial documents and reports to ensure accuracy. Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Expertise in transforming data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.
  • Highly adaptable to shifting priorities and delivering high quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with partners at all levels of the organization incorporating an ability to influence when necessary.
