How it Works

AWARE™ traceability technology works like a virtual passport to authenticate sustainable materials throughout the

production process – from textile to consumer, in 3 easy steps.

 

Step 1

AWARE™ Tracer Particles are added to the recycled fiber, and the fiber is spun into yarn. These particles can be tracked during each stage of the production process. 

Step 2

The AWARE™ Tracer Particles are then scanned at each step in the process to verify that none of the properties have changed during its journey to the consumer.

Step 3

The AWARE™ Virtual ID & Product Passport can be accessed on your phone with a quick scan of the QR code that’s sewn into each bag providing easy access to meaningful and trusted impact data. Including the material composition of the product, the product journey, the product level impact calculations and the working conditions, ensuring fair labor ethics,
